ReplyDeleteI must be pretty lame trying to be involved in the viewing and voting in this contest. I know how to look at the ones posted on the channel page, but I saw others yesterday just dinkn' around youtube that I liked a lot better.
ReplyDeleteHow do I look at the entry and know which poll to go to? I am old so I guess it's above my ability to figure this out. It seems to me like you should be able to see an entry and vote right next to it.
@tlph62 all details on how to vote as well as looking at entries has been clearly explained numerous times on the channel videos.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I know how to cast a vote. What I don't get is how to look at all of the entries submitted. I've just been keywording around youtube looking for wallet entries to your contest.
ReplyDeleteI've watched all of your videos on the contest, and all the updates (if there are only 7) 2 or 3 times.
It would be fun to go to surveymonkey.com like you did in order to watch the action but I haven't been able to figure that out. Maybe you are the only one that can do that.
If I like more than one entry in a poll I just have to choose my favorite in that poll and can't vote for the others at all, which means that they don't get my vote.
It's still fun and I know beta means beta, so good job on this contest so far. I know you'll work out bugs and (I'll get better) each time! :D
@tlph62 Contest update video #6 explained that all of the entries to the contest are stored in my favorites, and it was also mentioned several times throughout the videos. I specifically made it one vote per poll in order to better the chances that there is only one winner from that poll and not several ties that would need to be dealt with. As for watching the number of votes I should be able to revamp that in the future if enough people want to see how it is going.

ReplyDeleteWhat I'm getting at about voting for only one in each poll is that there may be 3 in one poll that I think are all better than any in another poll. I do understand why you did it this way, though, totally. I bet you're next contest will have twice or more submissions. :))

It would have been possible if I had set it up that way but for this contest I chose to keep it hidden. For the future I'll activate it so that the votes are able to be viewed.
